These tutorials can be easily integrated into your D2L course site if you follow the installation steps below.

Student responses to questions in the tutorial are saved within your D2L course. Please review the section Reviewing Student Tutorial Responses for steps to access this information.
Tutorial Installation Steps
- After accessing your D2L course, click the "Content" link in the top navigation bar.
- In the “Content” area of the course, look in the left hand side bar and click on the module you want to add the tutorial to. You can also create a new module by typing a name into the “Add a module…” text box at the bottom of the left hand side bar.
- Once inside the module, click the "New" button.
- A drop down menu will appear, select "New SCORM/xAPI Object" from the drop down menu.
- In the box that appears, click the radio button to the left of the tutorial you would like to add. Note that you may need to scroll down to find the resource. In this example, we’ll use “Skills Tutorial - Academic Library Research 101”.
- Next click, the blue "Add" button.
- In the new screen, decide if you want a grade item created for the tutorial. **RECOMMENDATION: The tutorials require students to answer open ended questions, it is recommended you do not have D2L create a grade item. Instead create a grade item manually and add in student scores based on your review of their responses. **
If you decide to have D2L create a grade item for the tutorial on installation, all the non citation related tutorials will assign a 100% score when students have completed the tutorial. For the citation tutorials, students will get a 100% score if they get 80% or better on the tutorial.
- Then click the blue "Add" button at the bottom left of the screen.
The box will disappear, leaving you at a screen with the title of the tutorial at the top.
Click "Content" in the top navigation bar.
Next click on the module where you added the tutorial, you should see a link in the module entitled “Skills Tutorial - Academic Library Research 101".
Click the link to open the tutorial and ensure it loads properly. **IMPORTANT NOTE: While you will be able to progress through the tutorial, only student accounts have their progress saved. So if you complete the tutorial and return to it after exiting, you will begin the tutorial fresh, this is not a bug.**
Reviewing Student Tutorial Responses
- Click Content from the course navigation bar.
- Click Related Tools.
- Click View Reports from the drop down menu.
- Click SCORM Reports.
- A table listing all the SCORM tutorials in your course will be visible. Click the tutorial you want to see results for. In this case - Skills Tutorial - Academic Library Research 101.
- A table listing all of the students who have completed the tutorial will be visible. Click the name of the student whose content you want to review.
- Click the Interactions link at the top right of the table.
- A table similar to the one shown below, will be visible listing the student submitted responses. The Description column of the table provides the name of the question and the Learner Response column provides the student submitted response to that question.
