Registration for an individual account is REQUIRED:

The Milwaukee Business Journal requires individual accounts for all users. (Beginning April 2022.)

The registration process is quick, has only a few steps and usually takes about 5 minutes to complete.

For problems with registration, please send an email to memref @ marquette.edu . Please include some information about the problem(s) you experienced. 

Important note:

Registration is NOT complete until you check the Group Subscriptions box!  When that step is completed you will have access. (See step 9 and screenshot below.)

Start here:

Instructions:

1. Enter your complete MU email address, firstname.lastname@marquette.edu
2. Create a password. This password is not connected to your eMarq password.
   Password requirements:
   • Minimum 8 characters.
   • Includes a number or special character.
   • Does not appear on a list of most commonly used passwords.
   • Password help available here.
3. Enter a ZIP code. 53233 is the MU ZIP code; we suggest that you use that.
4. Complete a reCaptcha.
5. Select / deselect newsletters and alerts to receive.
6. Make note of the Privacy Policy and User Agreement you're agreeing to.
7. Click on "Start my membership".  You will automatically be logged in.
8. Log out and log back in again.
9. Check the box for Marquette University Libraries under Group Subscriptions and click "Continue". Screenshot below.
   
10. Now the registration is complete. You have unlimited access to articles in the Milwaukee Business Journal only.
     ➤ We do NOT subscribe to the content for other markets/metro areas. 
11. You also will receive an email with the subject line "Thank you for registering with The Business Journals", but you don't need to respond to it.
