There are quite a few sites that claim to track trends, in a variety of ways. Here are some that offer at least some free content.

BrandZ Top 100 Global Brands - Kantar
The Cool Hunter
More for innovations in design than trend tracking, but perhaps still useful.
Factastics, a blog from Saurage Market Research
No searching unfortunately.

Because these two generations are the current trend setters and therefore very important to marketers, below are some articles or sites about them.

13th edition, 2019, Deloitte. Although the entire report is not free, there are some interesting sections that are. There's also an executive summary.
