Late Antiquity
The period of European and Near Eastern history from the end of the third century CE until the beginning of the sixth, a time of transition between classical antiquity and the medieval period.
The Crusades
A blanket term for several medieval holy wars, involving European invasions of territories held by Muslims and Christian heretics in the Middle East and parts of Southwestern Europe.
Chaucer
Geoffrey Chaucer (c. 1343-1400) was an English author who is most famous for his "Canterbury Tales" a collection of (mostly) lighthearted stories told by a diverse group of travelers on a pilgrimage to Canterbury in Southeastern England.

Medieval Digital Resources
MDR is a curated database of peer-reviewed digital materials for the study of the Middle Ages. Users can browse an alphabetical list or search using controlled-vocabulary subject tags to find vetted online resources of many types, including: imagebanks; bibliographies and reference works; pedagogical tools; editions and translations; music and other multimedia collections; interpretative websites; and new works of digital scholarship.
Medieval Academy Books
The Medieval Academy's publications page includes links to html and PDF versions of several dozen volumes of the Medieval Academy Books series.
The Library of Digital Latin Texts
The MAA is collaborating with the Digital Latin Library to support the publication of born-digital TEI-encoded open-access editions of medieval Latin texts.
