Add References Using the Connector

Once you install the Zotero connector to your preferred browser, you can use it to easily add sources to your Zotero account. The connector can be located in the upper-left corner of the web browser. Your saved reference will appear the Zotero desktop version and through your account on Zotero.org

Export Multiple References

You can also export multiple references in some databases as a RIS file. This is useful for EBSCO databases when you need to save multiple citations from a results list. Note: this method does not guarantee attachment of a PDF.

Once downloaded, Zotero will ask the folder in which you would like to add your references.

Add References Manually

You can add references to the Zotero desktop version manually by clicking on the green button (button with a plus sign) once a certain folder is selected. Once you choose the type of reference (journal article, book, newspaper article, etc), you can enter the citation information.
