Searching the Library Catalog

These videos below will demonstrate how to search the library catalog in several different ways. They all show how to limit your results to only e-books.

Video Notes

1) Most videos are 3-5 min long. Playback speed is your friend.

2) Each video will show how to limit and access e-books in the catalog.

3) E-books are hosted on three main vendor platforms - EBSCO, ProQuest, and Alexander Street Press. Each vendor has different access rules and the text will look different. Each video below shows how to access a text from each of these vendors (Author - Alexander Street Press; Subject - EBSCO; Keyword - ProQuest). I personally recommend EBSCO books as I find that platform the most "user-friendly" and typically with the least restrictions.
