This Guide for research focusing on African Americans is designed to introduce major resources for research in a direct and efficient manner and to facilitate the use of these resources. This Research Guide is not designed to be an exhaustive guide that alerts the researcher to all possible tools for research in this field.  While this Research Guide is a self-contained guide to research about African Americans it will also function as one of the topical components of the over-arching Research Guide for Diversity [work in progress.] If I may be of further assistance, please contact me; I will be glad to help.
