RefWorks Accounts
All currently enrolled Marquette University students or currently employed Marquette University faculty and staff are able (without cost) to set up RefWorks accounts.
New to RefWorks? How to Create an Account

From the RefWorks log in page, you have the ability to link to create an account by clicking on "Sign up for an Individual Account" as shown above.
You may choose whatever password and login you would like; you do not need to use your CheckMarq/E-mail address or password. (Note: if you choose a login name that is already in use, RefWorks will ask you to select another.)
You also have the ability to set up multiple accounts in RefWorks. This would be useful if you are working on multiple large projects or are working collaboratively with others and are sharing access to a RefWorks account.
Once you have set up a RefWorks account you will receive an e-mail message from RefWorks. Please save this e-mail for your records. The e-mail message also includes the Marquette University Group Code which you will need to access RefWorks and Write-N-Cite from off-campus.
