Welcome

Organize, organize, organize...that used to be the major duty of the library profession.  To some extent librarians still help to organize information and collections.  However, to a greater extent the profession is now geared to proving access (both physical and electronic) to the wealth of information that is available in the world today.

This guide is not meant to be exhaustive.  Rather, it provides a staring point or perhaps an access point to information, search engines, lists, and web sites all pertaining to Library and Information Science.  If you know of or come across a resource you think should be included in this guide send me an e-mail.
