Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a way to get materials that are not already available at Marquette. The service is available to all students, faculty and staff. There is no cost to the requestor, though the Libraries usually do incur costs.
Use your Marqnet credentials to login to the Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) system – the login is located at the top of this guide (screen). The ILLiad system will recognize you as a first time user and prompt you to fill out the required User Information fields; name, contact information, etc.
An Interlibrary Loan Shared Account form must be filled out and signed by the faculty to allow you to submit requests on their behalf. Shared Account Authorization
If you forward your eMarq email to another email address AND are experiencing problems logging into your Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) account, please log into the eMarq email system directly to verify that your password has not expired.

➤ NOTE: Interlibrary Loan cannot guarantee the receipt or timeliness of emails from the ILLiad system that have been routed through emarq to another email address.
Interlibrary Loan materials are forwarded to the Raynor Library Circulation Desk (located on the left, as you enter through the turnstiles) for pick up. You can return your materials to this desk or to the Interlibrary Loan Office (located in the Memorial Library building on the left as you exit the bridge from Raynor).
A renewal can be requested for loans:
➤ NOTE: The ILLiad system DOES NOT allow a renewal request more than seven days before the due date.
To request a renewal:
➤ NOTE: You will receive an email confirmation when the Interlibrary Loan Office has forwarded the renewal request to the lending institution for consideration.
